Fixing the nose has definitely helped! I really like what you have so far and I think you could even go back in and add more contrast if you have the time... if not then that's okay too, I think you've done such a good job considering your dislike of drawing humans!
Sydney! Good work! I was so pleased to see this when you completed it - you continue to improve with each drawing. :) A couple of suggestions...1) I would take a risk and add text into the hair and jacket to kind of pull the imagery together and build those areas up a little more in value. 2) I think once you do that, you will see that you can add more darks to your face to match how you have built up the background, shirt, and hair. The text is a definite bonus and you know how I love to see surface manipulation!
